Today I had another wonderful experience at Octavia! Last time I shopped there I bought a gorgeous cobalt blue outfit. I wore to an awards banquet. I got 1 million compliments. It was so comfortable and so pretty, that I came back today to buy something else. I found a red outfit that I’m going to wear to The Prime Rib tomorrow! I just love the store! Great stuff and the people are so nice!

I can always find the perfect gift at Octavia. Their scarves and accessories are unique and they gift wrap them! While I’m shopping for others I inevitably find clothes for me. The casual collection is great and very versatile.

One of the best boutiques ever. I can always find something at Octavia whether I need a pick-me-up, something for a party or an appropriate wedding outfit. The staff are always helpful. They aim to please. They’re friendly and have great taste.

Found my Mother-of-the-Bride dress at Octavia’s and not only walked away with a fantastic gown (ruffled up/down hemline!), but a massive smile because I had the best time shopping! And I’m not a shopper! The staff, the selection, the vibe and energy of the store—all combined to make the outing perfect! Thank you, Octavia, for solving my wedding fashion quandary!

I visited the store twice to choose Xmas gifts for my wife. The first time I was alone. I was very pleased with service. I then chose to visit again with my wife. She was thrilled with their recommendations. I then asked for fancy gift wrapping and pickup in a few days. My wife and I cannot recommend Octavia's highly enough!!! And they even were very grateful, when I returned the huge boxes for reuse, instead of treating my request as strange. 10 STARS!

I stopped by Octavia Boutique today, and I was so impressed that I felt compelled to write a few lines about it. The store is fairly large and sits in the Village of Cross Keys in Baltimore, an upscale open‑air shopping destination near the golf course. I’ve been a customer there for quite some time, but lately it feels as though they’ve shifted gears — in the best possible way. What stands out most is the balance in their selection. They offer an appealing mix of evening wear, casual everyday pieces, and beautifully tailored clothing in rich, flattering colors. The pants are consistently good, the jackets are glorious, and the sweaters are the kind you want to touch. Everything is thoughtfully curated and priced sensibly, which is dangerous for me because I can always find something I won’t be able to resist. Their jewelry selection has also taken a noticeable leap forward. They still carry small, affordable, easy pieces, but they’ve also added more distinctive designer items​ lately — bold colors, contemporary shapes, and intriguing materials. I spotted exquisite Lucite pieces, leather designs in unexpected hues, and some very fashion‑forward clip earrings from Paris that are both chic and unbelievably comfortable. ​Visiting Octavia Boutique always feels like stepping into a space where style is taken seriously without ever feeling intimidating. What makes it truly exceptional, though, is how rare it is to find a fashion boutique that excels equally in clothing and jewelry. Their recent evolution has only sharpened that distinction. The apparel is beautifully curated, but the jewelry collection is nothing short of breathtaking — a level of creativity and quality you almost never see under the same roof. If you enjoy thoughtful fashion, distinctive accessories, and a store that consistently surprises in the best way, Octavia is well worth the stop. Just be warned: resisting temptation there is nearly impossible.

In 2017, I lost weight and the gown I bought for my son’s wedding did not fit. Octavia to the rescue 8 weeks before the wedding. In a wheelchair, with two broken feet, Betsy helped me find the most perfect gown. It is 2026, I still love the gown as much today as I did in 2016. There is no better place in Baltimore to buy mother of the bride/groom dresses and cocktail dresses/pants.

Betsy Wendell and her staff at Octavia are awesome. When you go there, they make you feel so special. They really care that you get wonderful additions to your wardrobe. And they are totally honest with you about how they think things fit you and that the items you pick make your plusses better and your negatives less negative. It is THE BEST CLOTHING AND ACCESSORY STORE IN THE WHOLE WORLD !!!! And Betsy and her son and her staff are amazing... totally and completely amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to think of Octavia as 'too fancy' or 'not my style' -- but I was wrong. Yes they have some fancy clothes (pretty ones) but mostly their merchandise is very much on trend and they have so many beautiful (and fun!) pieces! My very favorite blazer is from Octavia and I get compliments every time I wear it. The lovely staff helped me pick a beautiful dress on this visit. Octavia has become my first stop. :)
